Element: 3.1: Design and implement short and long term plans that are linked to program and instructional goals as well as a variety of students needs.
Artifact: Unit Plan and lesson plan

Reflection: This was a Unit plan on Ultimate Frisbee. This was created to give students skills and information in the content area of ultimate frisbee. It also had short term objectives in the individual lesson plan that fit in with the unit plan.
The Unit Plan Relates to Element 3.1 in the following manner..
The unit plan is a key and pathway to instill instructional goals as well as work with other student needs. The Unit plan is made up of lesson plans, in each lesson plan a cognitive, psychomotor and affective objective is listed.
Element 3.5: Plan and adapt instruction for diverse student needs, adding specific accommodations and/or modifications for students exceptionalities.

Reflection: This was an individualized plan for one of my students I worked with in my 356 Lab. This was one of the most useful pieces of material that I learned how to generate at SUNY Cortland. Goal planning and assessing were key components to this material.
The IPE Relates to Element 3.1 in the following manner..
I specifically adjusted my objectives to cater to the needs of the child that was in my PED 356 lab. Utilizing the IPE plan was difficult but became one of biggest successes as a future educator.
